As a student majoring in Visual Communication & Design, I was immersed in a comprehensive curriculum that covered everything from typography and design methodology to web design, visual form, and design history. I also explored a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, image-making, book design, motion graphics, and interface design. Each of these disciplines contributed to my growth as a designer, providing me with the versatile skill set I rely on today.

While working at the University of Dayton I was commissioned to use my skills in Adobe Illustrator to render a photorealistic image of the iconic Dayton Chapel to be used as the background wallpaper image for the university's personal iPads.

At the rise of the QR code phenomena I dove head first into researching on how to possibly push the limits of this new technology and how to incorporate into design.

During my time at UD I was privileged to experience multiple club rugby matches as I watched my cousin compete on such an incredible team. In true Dayton fashion, I felt a connection to these athletes and offered my services to help redesign their old club logo and bring it into the 21st century.

The International Festival logo is meant to personify the colors of internationality. They represent the different hues of nation's flags while continuing to include all and exclude none. This is best represented by the shape of the logo, an interpretive personification of the world's continents.
